It's theoretical, because I took the rail down, removed the trolley, and took the trolley apart in order to replace my cord. At this pilot hole, drill a 3/4 hole about half way through the doorfollow this by drilling a3/4 hole from the inside of the door to finish the hole completely through the door. Have you disengaged all locks on door? My outside keypad stopped working. (Image from the manual is below)
